Privacy policy

This policy explains, in plain language, what personal information this website collects, why, and what your rights are, in accordance with Québec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (“Law 25”).

What we collect

The site only collects personal information when you fill in the contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), preferred means of contact, the language of the page and the content of your message. The site uses no cookies, tracking tools or advertising.

Why

This information is used solely to respond to your request and to contact you by the means you have chosen. It is not used for any other purpose and is never sold or shared for commercial purposes.

Your consent

By ticking the box on the form, you give your free, informed and express consent to be contacted for these specific purposes. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to the address below; we will then delete your information unless we are legally required to keep it.

Where your information is kept

The form is processed by our hosting provider, Netlify, whose servers are located outside Québec. Messages are kept there for the time needed to handle your request and are then deleted. The site’s fonts are loaded from Google’s servers (Google Fonts), which receive your IP address in the process; no other information is transmitted to them.

Clinical records

Information sent through this form is not part of a clinical record. Clinical records are kept separately, in accordance with the Code of ethics and the standards of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec (see the FAQ).

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to request its deletion and to withdraw your consent. To exercise these rights, write to us; we respond within 30 days. You may also file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
